Special arrangements for transporting far-flung mominin to Islamabad were made by different shia organizations including fleets of hired buses .Besides a special train was booked to carry hundreds of protesters from the southern parts of Pakistan to the destination. The program was jointly organized by Shiaan-e-Haider- e-Karrar and all large and responsible Shia organizations participated with full religious fervour and enthusiasm to send an effective and unequivocal signal to the government machinery to rise to the occasion and do the needful.
The program started at around 10:00 AM at Shia Jamia Masjid wa Imam-Bargah located in the Sector G-6/2 of the federal capital. Huge tents housing thousands of mominin was saturated completely well before the program even commenced. The federal capital authorities ,ironically ,announced imposition of article 144 in Islamabad yesterday with immediate effect banning the use of Loudspeakers except for Azaan and Juma Sermon and any political/religious gathering of 5 or more at any public place and supposedly to last for 2 months. Visibly, a move to harass mominin and deprive them of their constitutional right of protest through coercion and use of force, the sun of 3rd August rose to smile sarcastically with contempt on the officialdom, as no-body really bothered about 144, as mominin know that neither the government's pseudo-theories nor their announcements hold any water.
